Privacy Policy

Personal data processed through the AWS SBG Sejong portal is managed by the chapter executive committee under the stewardship of the Chapter Lead. All data operations are strictly confined to student community governance and educational enablement.

We collect only the minimum necessary information required to verify student standing and facilitate community engagement:

• Enrollment Verification: Verifying active Sejong University student enrollment to ensure legitimate community access.
• Discord Role Provisioning: Granting verified Builder roles and channel permissions via our automated Discord bot.
• Event Operations & RSVPs: Coordinating workshops, builder jams, certification study sprints, and hackathon participation.
• Perks & Credit Allocation: Distributing AWS educational credits, certification vouchers, and official community swag.

All member records are securely encrypted at rest within Google Cloud / Firebase Firestore infrastructure. Access is strictly constrained by IAM role policies and server-side authentication safeguards. We do not store plaintext passwords; login is handled securely via standard Discord OAuth2.

AWS SBG Sejong strictly never sells, leases, monetizes, or shares student personal data with external advertisers, commercial recruiters, or data brokers.

※ Standard chapter health reports submitted to AWS Higher Education consist entirely of aggregated, anonymized metrics (e.g., active participant counts, pass rates) with zero personal identifiers.

As an enrolled student member, you maintain full sovereignty over your personal records:

• Access & Correction: View and update your academic details, phone number, and cloud background anytime via your Member Profile.
• Right to Erasure (Forget Me): Upon graduation or decision to leave the club, you can request full and permanent deletion of your profile by emailing aws@shawkath646.dev. Your document is purged from Firestore without undue delay.
